Welcome to Après Ski Bands!

Chris Quinn to play at the Trade & Press river cruise, part of LISTEX Luxury 2026!

For many years throughout the winter seasons, Chris has worked with Après Ski Bands to perform at some of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps’ most luxurious hotels – including residencies at Le Strato and Le Grandes Alpes in Courchevel 1850 and The Ultima, Gstaad.

Live, Chris’ shows cover a wide range of acoustic music alongside his own material. From authentic interpretations of traditional and contemporary British folk songs to lightning quick bluegrass flat picking, from intricate fingerstyle delta blues and swing jazz numbers to instrumental solo guitar pieces. Chris has carved his trade for over a decade touring worldwide. Along the way he’s performed at shows in venues such as BB King’s New York, Cambridge Folk Festival, London’s Royal Albert Hall and had a stint as the opening act for the Jools Holland Orchestra!

Surrounded by Celtic music, bluegrass, roots music and jazz from an early age, Chris was heavily influenced by British folk and American jazz and roots music. Fast forward a couple of decades and the UK based musician finds himself playing regularly with some of Europe’s leading jazz guitarists whilst making a name for himself in his own right. His recent highlights include sell out shows at Kings Place, London and headlining Brecon Jazz Festival. He was recently featured in the March 2023 Guitarist Magazine interview for their feature on the legacy of Django Reinhardt!

When not touring the world, Chris finds time to give guitar retreats at ‘Roots Music Retreats’ and runs the online academy ‘AcousticMasterclass.com’.

Chris Quinn will be playing aboard the boat, with guests boarding at 5.45pm from Festival Pier, Southbank, and enjoying the gorgeous Thames river views, music, canapés drinks and networking throughout the evening!
