New for 24/25, Haute Savoie – Mont Blanc, a new regional collective of ski resorts in the Northern French Alps has been created to invite winter snow lovers to discover all the destinations within the region and the plethora of experiences on offer in these authentic mountain villages and resorts.
Destination Haute Savoie – Mont Blanc is already one of the most established regions for winter sports and activities in the world. It boasts authentic mountain villages and ski destinations with a ‘resort village’ atmosphere and traditional architecture.
For many years the region has diversified its winter offering. The region is not just about the skiing, it also offers a wide range of non-ski activities including dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice rinks, farm visits and sledging.
Haute Savoie-Mont Blanc is also about its history, with resorts founded from, for example, Chamonix in 1907 and most of the other destinations growing into tourist destinations between 1936 and 1950. The region is proud of its local culture, its heritage and a year-round life and community.
